I'm looking advice on my first big pinball purchase. I've had a Mata Hari that I've been fixing up over the last year and I really want to get something with a DMD. I've been looking at new sterns and a couple of 90's machines, and I'm stuck between getting Sterns GoT Premium NIB/ Metallica LE or Addam's Family + Judge Dredd. I grew up playing Addams Family in the bar we used to go to when I was little and Judge Dredd is the machine that got me playing pinball again. The cost isn't an issue as much as reliability and maintenance. I'm leaning toward the Dredd and Addam's Family but would like to hear thoughts on what would be better, a new machine or two classics and why.

I know machines take a little tlc over the course of their lifetime, just got done fixing up my Mata Hari to playable condition. Bought it for $200 and have put $1000 into getting it up and running. Well worth it, great machine, just want something a little more in-depth. Thanks for the input.

From the sound of things, a new machine should be pretty solid but if I get a shopped older one from a reputable spot I should be OK as long as I keep up on regular maintenance... thanks for everybodies input so far. Going to keep saving til Texas Pinball Festival in march and see what I pick up at the show

Hitting sparky is fun. Didn't like the layout the first few times I played it but it's grow on me. I like the graveyard multiball.
