    Hi,

Traced a Bally soundcard problem to inverter/ buffer.

Looking for MC14049UB DIP hex buffer in the Ottawa area.

Anyone out there with the component willing to sell one or two? Thought I'd ask before going to eBay .

    Thanks

Mouser probably still stocks these. I've probably got a few dozen. If you cover post, I'll mail you a couple.

    Where 'bouts are you?

I did find some online from Montreal that I was going to order... just thought if someone was in Ottawa I could do a drive by and get it fixed this weekend instead of waiting (lack of patience in my old age .

Appreciate the offer, please let me know anyway, just in case.

NJ - it is such a common part, you may find someone else here closer that has a few to spare.

MC14049UB is obsolete but Texas Instruments still makes an alternate. Search for CD4049UBE.
