Woz ecle glass wanted!
Quoted from Mudflaps:Sadly, Medusa went to the dump. No takers, even free. May she rest in peace(s)!

Crazy... hard to believe nobody in Virginia wanted the glass at least, issues.. still a nice wall hanger. I sold a lot of much rougher less desirable glasses, just a few bucks but they were gone the same day.
Anyone with a Quicksilver backglass? Doesn't have to be perfect.
Keeping an eye out for a better Bally Star Trek and Silverball Mania backglass as well.

Gott_Lieb Jim, didn't you make repros at one point?
I was wondering if anyone here had done business recently with BGResto.com (aka Stephen Azzam.)
I’m just looking for basic info; turnaround time, seller communication, and most importantly quality and durability. I am doing an article on pinball backglasses and I am using my 1977 “Pinball” by Stern as the Guinea pig for a new reproduction glass from BGResto. Kills two birds with one stone, I get material for an article and buy a badly needed backglass for one of my pinball machines. With his expected delivery of 6 - 12 weeks, it will be some time before I can finish the story though.
This information might even help others here on pinside. New backglasses are very expensive, so buying a reproduction isn’t for everyone. Many people are unwilling to spend $300 plus shipping for an obscure game with little collector value.
I am the kind who spares no expense and would lose money on every machine I own, if I would ever sell any of them.
I bought a Mata Hari backglass from Marco specialties for $299 with a free shipping coupon last year. Although they only carry the style with the dagger inscription, it was an excellent purchase just the same.
Classic Playfield Restorations, however have been a disappointment. A couple years ago a friend received backglasses with, let’s call them “alterations”. An area of missing color on one, slightly distorted art on another, a filled in “O” on a third. When my friend contacted them there was an excuse on top of excuse. Bottom line, Suck it up… No refunds, no replacement as-is, no warranty if you send it back you are out $50 shipping plus the shipping you paid to get it in the first place.
This was a few years ago so they may have improved since then. I contacted CPR recently to ask if they were going to be doing other backglasses and I got a rather cold, bordering on rude, answer. Maybe someone was having a bad day or maybe they are tired of getting this type of question. Who knows.
If you had a positive experience with CPR please let me know, I’d rather do an overall positive article if at all possible.
Finally, does anyone know anything about that backglass reproduction service from Denmark? I heard they did superior work and were really cheap, but that was also a few years ago and nobody seems to remember the company name.
Anyway, I’ll stop, this is too long.

Backglasses are good , should expect delivery in 14-16 weeks and no communication until its in the mail on it's way to you.
That pretty much sums it up.

You are sharing Facebook links that are commerce. So if you don't have a shop or store I guess, the link doesn't open to the ad.
It would be more beneficial if it was a standard type link.

Ask the wife for help..this should put her in her glory!

Good to know - thanks !
Quoted from yfz450:Anybody know how to tell an OEM EBD glass from a repo? I was told by the original owner that it is an NOS glass.
Many of the Bally NOS BG's I've had were missing the "credit" lettering in the display area.
I have a Firepower backglass...pretty beat up, I can bring it to Pinfest if you're interested...good for a wall hanger I'd imagine, but I wouldn't use it in my machine...but If you don't have one...you may be interested...shoot me a PM
