    I have finally pulled the trigger and I now in the purgatory of upgrading to a later model Mac Pro desktop tower.

    It finally got to the point that I need to/have to retire my 2006 Mac Pro. I love this beast but the internet has been passing me by for years.

    I have finally taken delivery of a 2012 Mac Pro. Not new, I know. But Apple has not obsoleted it--yet. The price was right and did not wipe out my pinball funds (see. I know what I am doing. I still have money left over to kit out 2 more pins with LEDs. ) I know where my priorities are )
    ================================================

    Here is my problem: I have been running with 3 monitors since my G-4 days in 2003. When the 2006 Mac arrived in 2011, I had to buy a couple of single-link active adaptors and an extra ATI 5770 video card to push all three monitors.

    I was under the mistaken assumption that running 3 monitors would be a straight slide over from the 2006 to the 2012. It is not.

    Apparently I need some sort of dual link sort of adaptor. Since this 2012 Mac is already 8 years old, finding accurate information can be a challenge.

    Are there any multi-monitor Mac users who can advise me of what adaptors I need to buy so I can get my 3 monitors up and working again on a 2012 Mac Pro tower.

    Thanks in advance.
