Are you sure you want a Forester?
A relative has a CVT Subaru Forester (2015-2017, can't remember offhand), and after 2 previous Foresters they're looking at something else when the extended warranty expires.
In my opinion the CVT transmission which I believe they're still made by Jatco AKA Nissan just isn't as good as their previous transmissions.
If you're going to get one test drive the EXACT Forester you're buying, there can be varying build quality.
It'll fit a System 11 with folded down head, but it's tight; I haven't had to load a new Stern or anything else, so I don't know about fitting those.
