I'm thinking about getting another pin for my house. Right now, I have a MBr LE plus a couple arcade cabinets. I suck at pinball but it's becoming my main hobby-interest

Here's my list of possible next additions:
Deadpool
Batman 66
Walking Dead
Star Wars

Do any of these pins standout as being an objectively better game for a newish player? Should I avoid any games on this list? And finally, should there be anything else I consider?

I think you should consider the newest Jurassic Park pin.

Good suggestion. I just bought one for my mother in laws house a bit ago, otherwise it would be at the top of my list

Try a system 11

Walking dead may frustrate you. A lot.
Great game.

Agree on system 11.
Good pinball and fun to improve flipper chops.
Cheaper too.

Buy what you like no matter what anyone else says.

of those i think Batman is the best for intro or casual players, Deadpool a close second.

Whirlwind or WH2O. Or both.

If you're new to it, try an older ss game. A bit slower and fairly simple rule set. Lots of great ballys and gottleibs out there

From your list would say SW premium, lots of modes and ways to attack the pin and even if you such at first you can try a lot of different modes and point strategies. Even if you are not able to get super deep in the rules you can start for partway objectives like to destroy the Death Star.

I'll throw in Star Trek as a great all around pin.

TWD is also great but might be very frustrating if you are not that good of a player (may be better for advanced player).

Deadpool is great, I don't care for BM66 personally.

Deadpool or TWD off that list, whichever you get the better deal on..

We all have opinions on what is best, I would go for the highest ranked number one in this case Deadpool...

Just going by that you have a storm trooper as your avatar I would go with Star Wars.
Solid game and I assume you’re a Star Wars fan.

I would say from his list and his 'Avatar'. Looks like OP is a Star Wars fan, I highly recommend Star Wars Premium/LE-especially if you love the theme. Theme goes a long way and Star Wars is one of the best. Great layout, code, and fantastic orchestrated sound. Other suggestion may be a STTNG?

I love TWD, but it’s a tough pin. Star Wars is a lot of fun if you spend the time to figure out the rules. So, for newer players, that leaves Batman and Deadpool. My preference is Deadpool but you can’t go wrong with either one!

Earthshaker & GNR.

SW is complex but not that difficult especially in a home setting.

Lots of good tutorials.

I decided to go with a Deadpool now and will get a comic art Star Wars next.

Thanks everybody for the advice

Well, I would get SW comic first. SW is coming up on being 3 years in production, which is generally how long most games are on the Stern production line unless they renew the licence. I will not be surprised to hear last call from Stern soon.

You’re welcome, lol. That would be my choice....

I like the fact that you are branching out to different manufacturers. So you have now a CGC and a Stern. Maybe consider a different manufacturer next?
