I started helping a nice guy before Covid with his Paragon. It had stuck flipper issues, and game starting and randomly resetting issues. We replaced the MPU, and Driver boards with Altek, and I soldered in a new Rectifier/Bridge board for him. Everything but the lamp and sound boards is new.
I cleaned the flipper mechs and sleeves, and had him order 4 new baseplate and up flipper mechs from PL for eventual installation.
the game sometimes starts, and sometimes resets, and we have narrowed it down to the connectors from the Rectifier board.
Those connectors need to be replaced and repinned. I have the PBR kit for it in hand. He also needs the 4 flipper assemblies installed, and a minor shop job with rubbers and a few bulbs replaced.
He moved to FL last month, and we were unable to connect before he moved. I am looking to help him out by identifying a local reputable pinball repair resource in the Fort Meyers/Naples, FL area that I can provide the details to on what is needed, and connect them so he can finally finish getting the game working.
If you are in that area and can ID a resource please share it so I can reach out on his behalf.
Thanks friends!
