Hey there! Have a '76 #CaptFantastic with a scoring reel startup issue. The motor just keeps spinning and spinning at startup, preventing the game from beginning. I understand this is a pretty common problem with EM games, but I honestly don't trust myself to fix it so was hoping to find somebody nearby who can help. In Beacon!
Found a thread on the topic from several years back with aveamike and SpOoKyRiDeS talking about this, so perhaps they have ideas?

If not manually reset them to all 0s and then try to start it

Yep. All the reels say 0. The reel motor keeps churning however, though no reels are moving

Even though the score reels are at zero, the zero position switch may not be properly adjusted or clean. Also, the game over relay(latch/lock) can wreak havoc w/this title in a few ways .if not adjusted properly.
