This is kind of like asking what shoes to buy, or which tires are best.

Everyone has different opinions on what games are good. Best thing to to find a show you can attend, and get a feel for what you like. There are many good choices that people have presented, but if you don't like it what is the point?

Find what YOU like, then narrow it down to the price range. You have a very good range there and you should be able to get a very good machine in that price range.
