While I do collect machines and do play competitively in tournaments, my favorite part of playing pinball (in all seriousness!) is keeping track of every high score I put up on EVERY machine I play by taking a picture of the score, saving the picture on my PC and then adding the score, location and date to a database that I maintain. Given all of that, here is a question that I would like your esteemed opinions on:

Should I differentiate between a SS machine and it's EM counterpart? For example, should I list scores for Evel Knievel SS and EM? Close Encounters Of The Third Kind SS and EM? Joker Poker SS and EM?

Now, granted, they basically PLAY the same in my opinion, so in that respect I would say, no, there is no need to keep both scores. But some folks have asked why I don't keep track of both. Just wanted some input in to this from others out there in the pinball world.

Thanks!
