I have owned a Haunted House. I have sold that Haunted House.
There are some pros and cons here. It makes a great collector piece, AND a conversation piece. i.e. the 3 playfields, the beautiful backglass, and the 8 flippers. Looks very nice, and I couldn't wait to own one. But to me, after getting it, its looks were very deceptive. Its not a very fast game.
I bought mine for the novelty of it and to enhance my collection. But after 3 or 4 weeks of playing it, I lost my enjoyment for it. I know it is no surprise that this pin doesn't stack up against a TZ, a TSPP, LOTR, White Water, etc. It just doesn't have many bells and whistles. I got too addicted to the more modern pins.
Therefore, you need to gauge just what you get your enjoyment from. HH is no pin for fast and furious play with all kinds of toys incorporated into it. It can become very dull at times (to me). It didn't take me long to decide to sell it. And so far, this is the only pin I've ever wanted to sell and get away from.
I hope this helps you make your choice. HH was simply 'dullsville' for me.
