A reminder when playing on a solid-state era game: look up to count your rollovers!

So I had the best game ever on Centaur, on my first ball -- must've been 10 multiballs, via outlanes, the right target, and the first time ever for me on the queen's chamber target (three times)! Maxed out multipliers (5x lit, not sure if something else), extra ball, special, multiple credits added. But after the game was done (the other balls were average), my score was punted in favor of a previous game's middling high score, my awesome game being shown as 1 million shy!

Never rolled a solid state machine before, but I did happen to glance up occasionally at the first digit of my score in the heat of balls-a-poppin' madness to know I rolled that sucker, twice! Just wish it could have been smarter about tracking 10s of millions somehow.

Guess I need to consider a divide by 10 mod, if anyone can point me to the means of doing that for a Bally. For now this 23 million+ score lives on an old-school sticky note

Change Centaur to /10 scoring:

Modify u6 rom at the following offsets:

offset EA9, from 10 to 01 change 10 score to 1
offset EB9-EBA, from 0100 to 0010 change 100 score to 10
offset ECA, from 10 to 01 change 1,000 score to 100
offset EDB-EDC, from 0001 to 1000 change 10,000 score to 1,000
offset EDE, from 2C to 22 change routine for 10k score
offset EED, from 10 to 01 change 100,000 score to 10,000
offset EFD-EFE, from 0100 to 0010 change 1,000,000 score to 100,000
offset FF5, from FF to 09 adjust checksum

Match won't work correctly but there's your /10 scoring

XPin has a 7 digit display set for old SS six digit machines that will show your big scores and remember them. For those of us who can’t program roms, I guess.

All the Oliver 6 to 7 digit romsets are either on ipdb already combined ready to burn, or off his website as patches.
