I’m thinking it’s partly the fault of the super glossy thick clear coat that everyone likes on a shiny NIB game. It amplifies the dimple and in many cases, it is the only thing dimpled.
I had a 1000 year old TZ and had the Pf restored and cleared. Played it for about 1yr before sending it off. Not one dimple before the restoration. When I got it back, the pf looked amazing and the clear was smooth and glossy. After a few plays it was covered in dimples.
