I just stumbled upon this song for the first time. I'm sure lots of folks know it, but thought it was worth passing along. It might not be "Pinball Wizard" but it's worth a listen. Not happy go lucky but a good one non the less.

I knew his brother. Dated his niece. He was from Stoneville, NC. He had another minor hit called Gooseball Brown. He died shortly afterwards from leukemia.
At one time Russ Jensen sent me some neat old pinball songs. This may have been one of them? Now I'm curious if I still have that on CD somewhere.
