Gottlieb WipeOut - bought from Jersey Jack mailorder about 20 years ago. Swedish coin door. $65 to ship via common carrier.

It's been moved to five different homes in its life. I got it basically for the theme as it was intended for a ski place we had.

    #202 2 years ago

Special Force was my first game from 2008 or so, still have it.

Dad has a Bow and Arrow since like 1980, still have it.

    Quoted from The_Director:

Just for fun, what's the longest man standing in your gamerooms and how long have you had it? For me, Bally Doctor Who. Has stood the test of time to stay planted on the gameroom floor for 8 years now. Has seen many, many other games come and go.

Bally KISS 1979 ~ In gameroom since mid'90s.

Funhouse has been here since my wife bought it for me for Xmas 2008. Got me back into the hobby.

Her untimely death in 2010 cemented it to the floor.

Thanks Karen, I sure miss you, honey!

    #210 2 years ago

    Black knight 2000.

    #211 2 years ago

Embryon. First pin, bought in 2010.

    #212 2 years ago

    Rally X Cabaret

First game room item purchased back in 1998. Been sitting lifeless for far too long. It’s overdue for a full restoration.

Getaway purchased in 1994 from an arcade floor in CT. Completed a full restoration on it this month!

First game was a Gottlieb Genie which I bought from an operator in 1985 for my dorm room in college. Moved that Genie at least 7 times between the dorm, parent's house and various apartments and could not bear to move it a 8th time so I sold it. Should have kept that one, still tempted every time I see one for sale

    #216 2 years ago

Twilight Zone. Bought it from the original owner in 1997. Had CH clear the playfields long before the HEP days. Plays like brand new.

    #217 2 years ago

I have had my Black Knight (this one - I have had 4 of them) since 1994.

I also some games in the basement that belong to another collector friend. His TOTAN has been in my basement for 9 years now. I think I can claim it as mine now, no? LOL

Captain Fantastic. Picked up in 1999. Only EM left in the collection and it's staying...great game.

    #224 2 years ago

I got a Gottlieb Miss Annabelle in 1966. I have the game in my office. Played it a couple of days ago. Still plays like the day I got her. Its been shopped 3 times during those 54 years.

I picked up a Flash Gordon In 2005 For $400 and it still sits in my game room today. I did sell it to a friend at one point but reacquired it a year later. I also operated it for a half year at one point. The next oldest is a TZ that I picked up in 2010.

    Wick

    #228 2 years ago

bought flintstones, congo, and Spiderman early 2013, still got em and will have em till the end.

    1 year later
    #229 8 months ago

I have had my Congo for over 10 years now and don't see it leaving anytime soon. I have many others nearing 10 years too like Roadshow, Indy 500 and Johnny Mnemonic. Sadly Indy 500 and Johnny will be leaving next once Godzilla Premium starts shipping.

Medieval Madness. Purchased NIB in 1997. All original except for ColorDMD and NVRAM chip. Not ever likely to leave.

Second game I ever purchased and still probably the family favorite.

Whirlwind in 2006 and Whitewater in 2008.

Whirlwind was $700 and Whitewater was $1800. Both seemed really expensive at the time.

    #233 8 months ago

AFMr, almost three years. Games don't last too long around here.

    #234 8 months ago

TZ… I think 5 years, second game I ever owned

Nothing is leaving now.. which is a problem!

    #235 8 months ago

LOTR. I sold it and then bought another one.

Spider-Man is the longest lasting game I purchased NIB. Still a solid game.

Lots of my games are bolted to the floor. I don’t think I will move anything anytime soon.

    #236 8 months ago

Paragon bought from Brock’s Ice Cream, Yuba City, California in 1992.

    Quoted from SunnRAT:

BSD going on 6 years now.

    7 years.

    #239 8 months ago

I just put my longest-standing pin in storage today.
My Paragon has literally been in my house longer than I have.
It was time for a little vacation.
Hoping to have it back in the game room in the near future

Star Trek TNG. 2.5 years. Full data below for the fellow nerds.

Our family pinball growing up was a 1965 Williams Pretty Baby, still in the family at my sister's house. Had it since the early 70's. My longest pin is Johnny Mnemonic, since 1997.

BSD will be 7 years in March for me. First game, and no intention of ever selling it.

Got Freddy at the same time, then MET and Black Knight not long after. BK is still here. Sometimes miss Freddy and MET, but the space issue forced a decision.

    Quoted from Medisinyl:

BSD will be 7 years in March for me. First game, and no intention of ever selling it.

BSD was my third game. Been with me for 16 years.
I dreamt I sold it way too cheap, and that I thought 'why did I sell this game?'. So even my dreams warn me not to sell it

    #246 8 months ago

NIB first run Lord of the Rings (LOTR) - 17 years now I guess.

LOTR is also my longest standing pin. It is also my avatar.

    #248 8 months ago

Still holding on to my CFTBL going on about 30 years now.

    #249 8 months ago

Nicely modded Star Trek pro. Too nice of a player with too much strategy to give it up!
And my newly acquired Bram Stoker's upgraded with Pinsound will probably be the last to go!!

Dorm room pinball?!!! I fantasized about this while I was surviving off Ramen noodles and instant potatoes and canned vegetables.
