Ok, locking bar handle is loose at its mounting location. That little bit of play allows it to sag and prevents the coin door from closing like it should. Right now I am having to MacGyver it to close the door each time. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Name of game? Guessing a Gottlieb.

Basically you tighten the loose fastener that alluws it to drop into the way. Or, you replace the broken part(s).

It's a Williams. I didn't notice a fastener, it looks like it is riveted in place. I will check again tonight.

You are probably missing a spring that keeps the handle to the right.

If it doesn't have one original to the game, that is definitely a good idea to install one. That would fix my issue for sure.

Ok, turns out lock down bar had to be slightly shifted to the right for latch to engage correctly. It was a symptom of me trying to align everything to allow playfield to sit square when the playfield hooks sit in their respective slots. I will probably start another thread to get advice on b that issue...
