Hi StratDoc
the other pinsiders are on "trouble-shooting". Please answer my questions so I knew what I have to look-up (for) in the ipdb-schematics: http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=119
Your "Coil that rings the bell in the bottom box for the letters" - hmm, is it the chime unit ? See http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=119&picno=40547 - in the bottom-right corner (three metal plates) ?
I show a snippet of the ipdb-schematics: Everytime You make POINTS then "one of this chimes" shall sound. What happens when You make (simple) 10 points ? What happens when You make (simple) 100 points ? What happens when You make (simple) 1000 points ? What happens when You make (simple) 10'000 points ? Here http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=119&picno=51689 I see: You can make 500 points - means 5 times 100 points - what happens ? I also see: You can make 5000 points - means 5 times 1000 points - what happens ?
Is the fault in Your pin STRICTLY / ONLY when making the "A" "Z" "T" "E" "C" goodies ?
When the "Coil on LARGE Chime (1000 points)" STUCKS - what is the 1000-Point-RELAY (in the Backbox) doing ? Does it also sticks ? what is the 1000-Point-Score-DRUM doing ? Does it also sticks ?
Does the fault start to happen when You toggle-on the pin ? When You start a game ? When the ball is kicked-out ? When You make 1000 points ? Greetings Rolf
