I have a Stern Pirates and the lockdown bar can pull off easily when it’s supposedly in the latched position. Almost as though the latch spring is weak or it’s not fully engaging. The game is low play, HUO and I can’t see anything bent or missing. Any ideas?

Hmm. It’s not latching all the way, as though the two lockdown bar metal pieces aren’t going far enough down for the slide receiver to fully engage. Can this be adjusted?

Found the fix…

“Remove the four hex head screws, loosen the three bolts and move the locking mech up or down. Once done make sure the bolts are tight and reinstall the four hex head screws. If you do this correctly there will be no play and the lock down bar will stay tightly locked.” - MitchJ
