Lock Relay Question

This is on Williams Hi-Hand.

The lock relay is powered-- when I manually close it, the magnet holds it closed.

But why doesn't it pull itself closed?

Looks like it could use a good cleaning. 300-400# sandpaper and rubbing alcohol.

How strong is the pull when you close it manually?

Firm, but it can be pulled apart without too much effort.

When you push the lock relay it hold's itself in place (in blue).
I would clean and adjust the start relay switch. (in green).

This switch on the Start relay should pull the Lock relay (and the Outhole solenoid) closed.
