We'd do it right if we had a game in SoCal, and not because I'd play it, lol. I play in OC League with some really talented people, and I'd con them into playing on camera. Get Karl Deangelo over to play and set up the recording rig, coax Jim Belsito to make the drive. He's 1.5 hours from me, so it's a bit of a haul. Tim Moyers would be super happy to come play, half my league would kill on it really.

There's someone else that would have been cool to have, but he got hired by Stern ...

Kelly would get the lighting right, we'd rock it. Maybe instead we'll throw a belated launch party when we get our games. Waiting on the LE though, you know ...

Only watched a little of video but from what I can see game looks awesome. Love the 4 flipper action and all the shots. Can't wait to play one but kinda hope I don't anytime soon. I'll probably end up wanting one bad lol.

Holy hell, this game looks brutal. It sounded like they were having more luck on the GB next to it. Super and triple jackpots and multiballs all over the place and I thought THAT was meant to be the brutal game? Only watched the first hour of ALIEN but saw none of that. Not even a mode completed.. Yikes!
They had 3 games of ALIEN while a guy on GB was on the same ball! Ha.
Looks amazing so far though and has much potential.

Quoted from Ferret:

There's a skillful outlane ball save feature available. If one ball is locked toward Hypersleep Multiball, then the two outlanes will alternate lighting for ball save (stealing your own locked ball by doing so). If two balls are locked toward Hypersleep MB, then both outlane sides are lit for ball save, but it still costs you a ball lock.

Is this rule still accurate that you steal your own ball locks for the ball save?

I finally had a chance to play the game on location, and i was able to "revive" a ball from an outlane drain. I just wasn't sure I had any balls actually locked.

Is locking a ball the only way to light "revive?"

(The ball save revive feature worked, but the outlane insert lights were out on the game I played, so I was never sure how or if it was lit. )

Quoted from Ferret:

Also, somewhat sadly, we removed the "steal your own locked ball" rule. Now the upper ramp always adds a lit "Revive" lane, but using a Revive lane to save your ball does NOT decrease your locked ball count. That change was based on play-testing and watching streams: the ratio of left outlane drains to upper ramp shots was very skewed, and we didn't want Hypersleep MB to be Unobtanium.
