Quoted from midcoastsurf:Stern DMD and JJP are getting the most requests right now. What size is a JJP translite? Is DI different than WOZ and Hobbit?
24.5 inches High by 27 inches wide. I have DI, WOZ, TH, JJPOTC promotional translites and they are all that same size.
20190122_190243 (resized).jpg20190122_190309 (resized).jpgHere are the JJP size translites. The ones with the area light on appear all washed out, but that is mostly the way my phone exposed the pic, so just observe the size and how the frame looks on those. The closeups in the dark are more realistic of what they really look like. WOZ by far looks the best. JJPOTC looks great with the light dimmed just a bit. DI colors aren't vivid, so that one needs a little dimming also. TH ... the main dragon screen is pretty washed out no matter what you do. The other part is a little washed out like how it is in the game. Maybe if I use one of those gels that some people used in their game, it might look better. Each JJP translite is made from a different material. They should have stayed with the bright colored glossy one that looks like a photograph on the WOZ. As for the lit frame itself, it is great and with the dimmer you can tweak it in to your liking. Yes, I would recommend this lit frame. I might even buy more in the future for some Stern translites. This is my honest review. Come on JJP, go back to the WOZ translite material for the promotional translites.

My Beetlejuice #2 translite signing is authenticated. We are kind of camouflaged with the background, but got the photo. My wife accidentally made the Beetlejuice lit frame on display flash different colors and man ... did that make it pop and look 3D. That oopsie convinced me to buy it. I do have 4 other lit frames at home (white light only), full disclosure.

Quoted from midcoastsurf:Thanks for posting! So many color backgrounds that look amazing with this art.
White on full, flashing through the colors every second or so sold me on this one. That effect probably wouldn't be that great with other art / translites, but really makes this one pop and gives it depth. Goes well with the theme. Try it.
Quoted from midcoastsurf:It helps when you know someone who can work that remote
I don't let her work on the pinball machines, but she does test things pretty well.
Does the Brian Allen thicker acrylic alternative translite fit in the lit frame from a thickness standpoint? Do they pretty much look the same? Or is there a big difference between the thinner and thicker one in one of the lit frames?
Quoted from midcoastsurf:Friends! I'll be at my booth at the virtual Pinball Expo 2020 show for a few more days if you want to stop in and say hello
I'll keep my wife away from the remotes this time.
Quoted from midcoastsurf:I told them I wanted to partner on the GnR posters at 16"x20" size for my acrylic size frame. No interest on their end.
I'm worried the GnR promo translite will be too washed out like Hobbit. That's why I stopped carrying them.
Ken knows where to find me when he changes his mind. Until then, everyone shoot him a note with your interest
When I get my GNR translite I will pop it in one of my older style JJP frames and see what it looks like. Mine will be delayed because I ordered a banner too.
What about JJP? Are you going to restock those sometime? And is JJP going to start printing them for back lighting?
