Quoted from Neal_W:Sleazebay price over the last 15 months was $767 with 2 sold.
Probably the solid state version.
Quoted from Dayhuff:Thanks for the pic.....LOL. I searched twelve years HARD for that game.
It was over thirty years before I came across a nice EM Joker Poker. I remembered it was fun to win on.
There are no records saying how many Williams Rockets were made. My best guess is around 300. That was in 1959. If you can nab a survivor, it is a fun game.
Quoted from Dayhuff:Your not looking at the EM version's on EBay. The EM. version will bring 5 digits easy.
What is an EM Evel Knieval going for these days? Looks like the made around 150 of those.
Quoted from bonzo442:I think its rareness does add a certain value though when other pinheads check it out and comment they have never seen or played one, its kinda cool.
I get the same thing with my Williams Magic Clock. There is no record of how many were made and only two pinsiders including myself have one in their collection. I'm the only pinballer in the area I know of that has a built in spot on a machine to set my drink down.
Quoted from bonzo442:Nice!!
Thanks! It is a real fun game and we play it every day. Works like a champ!
Quoted from bonzo442:What Year is that?
1960. Funny, I've got five games from that year now. They are all somewhat rare.
I've been picking up quite a few older machines where there are probably few survivors as they come my way. Some I feel are rarer than others but have no record of production runs. Williams was not doing big runs of machines until the 60s. This Speed Way from 1948 must be one of only a handful left in the world. It has a track that circles the playfield like came on Nascar years later.
I paid $400 for it but the real value to me is that I'm going to bring it back to life and we're going to get to look at it and play it.
Quoted from Medisinyl:Mr. Black is one that I'd love to have in my collection that I don't expect to ever find.
I've never heard of that one before, but a friend of mine does have one of these.
Quoted from tamoore:I'd cut it right out of the cow walking around in the pasture and eat it, if it was legal.
Skip the knife and just go take a chomp.
Quoted from Caucasian2Step:Williams Beat the Clock (1st Williams multiball)
Bally Star-Jet (2nd Bally multiball game, first game with a lock and release multiball system)
Those are both very rare in this part of the country.
Quoted from LTG:For his final project he made the Ship Ahoy solid state.
Sheer genius!

Quoted from vid1900:Dave Christensen, who did great art like Fireball and Future Spa somehow got roped into creating that backglass.
I read that he did it as a joke when he worked for Bally. Background story on it is here.
Quoted from CaptainNeo:I wonder if the secretary at least got one of the backglasses.
If not maybe she got the big D instead.
