Ohh, there was an EM CA. Have to keep that possibility in mind when talking about games from around '78/77. Boston Pinball does not distinguish.
I should have known, since a friend has an EM Hot Tip with issues. I have volunteered to take a look, but I am worried about what I might see if he asks.
