Hello guys

Quoted from ForceFlow:IPDB shows 193.
https://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=756
It sounds like it was mainly a kit conversion game in addition to those 193 dedicated games.
Generally, the most common explanation for games with low production numbers was that they might not have tested well on location. There are of course other production-related reasons, like needing to keep the line busy with a short run or to use up a stock of parts, or business related reasons about cutting a run short or shifting from one title to another.
I see. Still very rare either a delicate or kit. I came across an eclipse one day. It was in a not working conditions and needed a lot of work. I was still learning about pins at the time so I didn't bought it. I still regret that decision. What I was thinking???
Hello guys.
One question about Eclipse for any one that might knows the answer.
It seems that there is a discussion about the exact number of units.
The ipdb says 193 confirmed units. In the notes you can find the following info:
"Although only 193 complete games were produced, a considerable number of kits (comprising a backglass, playfield and game ROMs) were produced. These kits were usually used to convert "James Bond 007" cabinets. Steve Young told us the Bill of Materials indicates the kits are Model 671 and the full games are Model 671A. We don't know from him what components make up the "kit"
Now there are a lot of assumptions of what does this means exactly.
193 total units with a considerable number of those being kits?
Or
193 units plus a considerable (unknown) number of kits?
How many are out there?
Quoted from Coyote:Uh, that quote is .. pretty definitive, and also a little odd:
It reads that 193 COMPLETE GAMES were produced. This does NOT include the number of kits. But then your quote goes on to say:
What? You (whomever this quote is from) just said a kit compromises of a backglass, playfield, and ROMs.
The quote it's copy paste from ipdb.
Star Gazer and Eclipse will very soon standing side by side
One of my small pin dreams
