Hello .
I had get that Surf Champ standee at a pinball convention "Bourgogne Game Show" in France 2018.
It was the decoration for the line up ( beautifull girl was the theme ).
At the end of the show JR Karr gave me the two pubs.
I Had bring my Mata Hari this year.
Good day .

Quoted from BallyCrazy:

The second one is on it's legs now

How bout on a boat? Or even in a moat? I do like green eggs and ham, I do like them Sam I am.

Quoted from Coindork:

The solid state machines were made for the domestic market in the U.S.
While the EM version was produced for the European market (namely France), where they still wanted EM machines.

Last time I went to the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, that is exactly what Tim Arnold told me when we were talking about my Evel Knievel EM. Most EM versions were sent across the Atlantic. Nobody in the States wanted anymore "old" EM technology.

Wondering if Gottliebs Asteroid Annie was originally to be a mechanical game.?

.
No. They did have S1 boards and either Krynski or Wayne Neyens wanted to make one last single player game.

There’s also another extremely rare Gottlieb single player SS besides Asteroid Annie, called Knockout. It’s a SS version of TKO. It even has the add-a-ball lights feature along with the single player digital score on the backglass.

I have a few, use to have a couple Gottlieb Pyramids, Eye if the tiger and Sinbad EM, as well as Dragon EM and a Bally Mata Hari EM. Still have this close encounters EM and cleopatra EM, my favorites.
