Saw this violent diorama at the Carnegie Natural History Museum on my ReplayFX trip.
A lion attacking a guy on a camel! It was made in the mid-late 19th Century by a French guy and purchased by Carnegie in 1896 for $50. My inflation calculator only goes back to 1913, but it was about $1500 in today's money.
