It's the only way to go. If I ever built another house, I'd have that in my basement floor and also my garage floor. You can zone it any way you want. I'd still add a furnace but you'd need that for the AC anyway.

No way man, ducts are older than you! Installed ductless mini-split systems in our upstairs bedrooms this past summer. Expensive but amazing. They cool the whole house if you leave the bedroom doors open during the day.

As insulated as that LIONMAN seems to be, I can imagine it will even need much to keep it cool/hot so long as you pre-prep to cool down prior to flipping the switch and getting funky!

You're not a DICK, Yancy. You are correct. I forgot about those. Me and LIONMAN forgot about those.
LIONMAN should be able to make it work. I've seen mini splits with 2 heads at opposite sides of a large room, almost should have done that on mine for the living/dining/kitchen area, have one large one instead and it has noticeably more air noise than the smaller ones in the bedrooms.

Even if you don't put in the heater itself, you did the right thing laying the tubing. I don't have a major issue in areas where we have carpeting, but the laminate is freezing. It's always cold to the touch in winter. Right now all I have is ceiling registers and the heat never reaches the floor. Lionman!
