I posted before, but now that I have my warm white bulbs and upper flipper fixed here are the shotes of my JP Premium. I really love the glow of these!
Mr_Tantrum just curious what was the issue with your upper flipper?
I too just had an issue with my upper flipper and a replacement is on the way.
He also sent me some warm lights after I mentioned to him that the ones he sent weren't the stock ones. He was happy to learn that JP was warm by default he wasn't aware of that so he was sending cold lights out with them. I think now he's going to send warm though by default.
I also mentioned in the JP thread I went with similar color schemes for titan rubbers and I'm glad to see the colors on your flippers match what I got too, and I like the look of it.

Stern had overtightened, bent the bolt, and stripped the claw. Just the act of me loosening the bolt screwed up the mechanism (had nothing to do with the flipper bat). I had to order replacement parts to fix it, and all is great now.
Mine were a Pinside Secret Santa gift (thank you, again! to my SS), so of course I didn't have an opportunity to inquire about bulb temp, etc. As everyone should be able to see, ArcadeMade has been extremely flexible and adaptive with this mod and they are learning some along the way about the best alternatives for various pin titles. The cool whites wouldn't have killed me, but given my strong OCD and that I order from Comet on a nearly weakly basis, it was no big deal for me to order 3 bulbs and replace them.

Gotcha.
And I agree about ArcadeMade having fantastic customer service!
Mr_Tantrum Also curious if you can get a pic of your bats with those caution toppers on them with less lighting. Like in a darker environment.
I am curious to see how it compares to mine without any toppers, with the LED flippers. It's hard to tell in that pic because it looks like there is a bit more light in the room.
I've been kind of interested in those because I think the lines can act as a guide when to press the flipper button, and I like the look. But I don't want it to "hide" any of the LED lighting that I like from the bats too.

Not wrong there. he refunded me when i paid extra cause he got hit with express postage to get them to me before Australia's biggest pinball show where i showed them to the aussie pinheads.

I tried first w/o the toppers, but I really wanted to keep them. I actually really like the soft glow the toppers create on the top of the bats.
Here is both ways in a completely dark room (I do have warm white PinStadium lighting set to 50% installed).

Cool thanks for the comparison pic. Hard to see the glow on the upper bat even without the topper lol. I realized though how pictures/vids don't do it justice and it's just hard to get the look across on them because I've taken some of my own.

It clearly glows in person and is quite visible which is why I did the closeup. I think a combination of my camera phone and being next to the Pinstadium lighting up there makes it not show very well in a photo. Also, the color of the flipper rings seems to tint the photo a little even though the flipper bats are obviously the same exact color.
Another dimension of pinball… Lit Kit Flippers in the Twilight Zone.
Lately I’ve been having fun working on this mod kit which includes a new mini lighted flipper created specially for TZ. The colors are based on those in the original flyer.
Tomorrow I’m planning to post a video of game play.
Quoted from Enchantress:Mini flipper coming for our Iron Maiden’s??
Would like to do that, currently getting some more hours of play on the mini flipper.
I wanted to show everyone what I've been working on with ArcadeAction: Lit Flippers for the CGC Attack from Mars remake (and potentially other CGC titles). CGC posted a challenge because of how they use proprietary bulbs, but we were able to work together and come up with a solid solution. I don't think he is quite ready to take orders (you'll have to ask him), but should be very soon so I suggest contacting him for decals.
The colors I decided to go with are clear bats with green LEDs. I have Titan glow in the dark bands and the colors go great. The green is a good sort of fluorescent color that matches my posts, plastic protectors, and the other greens in the area quite well.
However, since he posted a game video, I figured it was okay to post here about them. You can see the CGC AFMr game play video here:

Quoted from purbeast:Just curious - you have any ideas on how you could do the upper flipper in GZ?
Have a couple potential ideas, I’ll just need get personal access to view/measure somethings further for lighting that. Could also have a green tail topper stick-on for that third flipper as well and leave the main two flippers with the fire below as the lit up ones.
Got my Getaway lit today. I decided to go with cool white LEDs and clear flippers so I can swap band colors whenever I wanted. Also, I installed them so that I could attach a dimmer since they were a little bright for me out of the box.

Well, I've done all I can do for now with Lit Flippers. Time for someone else to buy the next set!
Here's 8 Lit Flippers in my 3 pin lineup.
Getaway | cool white LEDs with clear bats, Titan blue bands on lowers & yellow on upper
AFMr LE | green LEDs with clear bats, Titan glow in the dark bands
JP Prem | amber LEDs with yellow bats, Titan orange bands on lowers & green on upper

Looks great, you've got a really nice game room and selection of titles!
Quoted from Ryancaseystudio:Anyone have pics of High Speed or AIQ?
Had an install of High Speed in process earlier, will try to get some AIQ photos also.
Here's a super video of The Getaway that Mr_Tantrum was nice enough to film on his finely tuned machine:
Quoted from ArcadeAction:Here’s an installation on KISS:[quoted image]
I think those are called "Love Guns" on KISS.
FunHouse 2.0 Rudy’s Nightmare. Got lots of plays/testing of Lit Kit Flippers on the new FunHouse revision and feedback to help continually progress the design of the Lit Kit Flippers as well.
Here's a video and stills also:

Texas Pinball Festival - getting lit!
This year’s event really is a fun and well put together show with lots of great games. Has been fun so far meeting with up with many fellow Pinsiders.
Come checkout the booth if you are in town during the weekend.

I'll see you in a couple of hours!
Quoted from KevInBuffalo:Any pics of these on a Tron?
Yes, here they are installed on Tron.
Cannot recommend these kits. the left flipper wiring broke within a couple hundred plays, the right took a little longer, about 500 plays. the right flipper bat itself has now broken and is swing on the shaft.
Complete waste of money (not to mention the international freight) and not robust enough for a pinball environment.
Thanks for your feedback, it is appreciated. The version of flippers installed in the machine were one of the earliest versions. To my understanding, they were also installed and played at a pinball expo so they may also have received a lot of plays in a relatively short period of time.
In the seven months since then, several revision updates have been implemented to the design, both for strength and wiring. So far, regarding durability, the response has been really nice and people have been enjoying them with good feedback from those who had initially used them on location and many who had been primarily using them in a home setting. As they are quite involved to make, the main goal for them has been to make something for fun.
I've also reached out to you in a message as well.
Yes, took it to a show, the left broke on the first day. I had them in at home here for a few weeks, but honestly, it was only a couple hundred plays. The whole show play count was 240 games over three days. I've done that in a big week here at times.
As you said, 7 months to now when the flipper body itself shattered.
I appreciate the replacements and will update when i get them. Hopefully the new design is more suited to the environment.
Thank you for answering my PM on the subject.
Have to say that ArcadeAction backed his product up completely, sending not one but two sets of replacements free of charge. I'll update with the new design info in a month or two after i have them in and played a few games. It'll be good to get DP back.
