    I should know this.
    What's up with this light?

    Thanks.

You have a credit on the game.

Ahh. It's in free play. That explains why it's on all the time. Thanks.

Depends on how it's set for free play, but the Replay Unit Zero Position switch is probably stuck closed

difficulty mode is set to hard
the machine knows you are a pinball wizard and has adjusted its difficulty setting

The ‘keep playing’ light intended for young pinheads to expose the local greedy arcade owner that hoped you walked away with credits on the game?

    Hey now.

Some of us greedy arcade owners tell customers when they have a game left. Usually a match that they didn't realize they'd won a game.

Here's a somewhat related question. There is a factory cut hole in this instruction card and apron and pf? Could there have been an indicator lamp for this tilt "ball in play only" feature?

    Speaking of greedy arcade owners.

I'll be going to the Garcade today for 15 dollar open to close free play. Just like everyday.

He's NOT greedy. 145 arcade cabs and pins.
I think I hear the astroids machine calling me from the game room.

    See you there Milwaukee!!

There are two switches on the replay unit that are involved in credits. One is the zero position that you bend closed to put into free play. The other lights that apron lamp. I've got both done because I think having it lit is cool.

I bought this machine knowing it was in free play, so that makes perfect sense.

You sure your not the one that used to put white out over the credit window in the backglass?

I usually solder a jumper with male / female staycon set up on that credit switch. Then label it freeplay.
That way when i sell it, if they are a noobie ,they can go back to coin op or freeplay without try to find that switch.
All my games are coin op
