Anyone have a trick besides mussel to remove a lift bar? Hate to wrap my hand around the glass and pull. That could open all kinds of problems.

Do not mussel that off! You will pull paint off the back glass above the bar. You may break the glass.

Flat surface, solid piece of oak stock, plastic hammer. Patience. Light taps will remove the trim from the friction tape. I gotten a dozen off, just takes care.
