Hello. I recently purchased a Lido bingo machine. Its been working fine for around an hour or so, then a few problems started to arise. First of all, the ball doesn't lift automatically anymore but the manual lift button works. When I start a new game and lift the ball up manually, I shoot it, but the shutter is staying open only for the first ball. Right when I lift another ball up, the shutter closes. Throughout the whole game play the ball doesn't lift automatically. Any ideas how I can fix this?

The trough that the balls set in has switches that determine
how many balls are in it.
At the beginning of a game there should be 8 balls.
You could look at the switches under the balls in the trough.
I also found a couple of times, on my Bikini machine, that a ball got
caught up on the "return road" back the the trough: so the machine's
trough thought there were not eight balls to allow a game to start.
This may help,
Terry K

It sounds like your ball lifter switch is dirty or out of adjustment. This switch is located underneath the ball lift mechanism so that when a ball is sitting at the bottom ready to be lifted the switch is closed. The manual lift button bypasses it, and it sounds like everything is working properly once you lift the balls yourself. The timer disk will step and close the shutter at step 2. I've attached a photo which may help you in understanding the location of the switch, this was taken with the lift mech pulled out. My thumb is on the switch.
