I just installed a playfield protector on my T2 over the weekend and I have to say that I am very impressed with it's performance so far. My playfield had some slight insert raising and the ball would occasionally roll strangely over them. The new protector not only eliminated that problem but hides other irregularities that I could see. Now it looks and plays like a new playfield. I recently restored a Shadow with a new playfield and it sits side by side with my T2 with the playfield protector. I am now thinking I could have saved a ton of time and money by just adding a playfield protector to it instead of a whole new playfield.
