I'm just setting up WOZ in my new home, and even though my basement floor is PRETTY darn level based on the three previous Stern pins I've levelled, I'm having a problem finding enough range on an original first-run WOZ ECLE.

With the back feet cranked all the way down and the front feet all the way up, I'm only measuring 5.5 degrees between the flippers, and even less in the upper half of the playfield. There's literally no more range available for me to adjust. So... uh... I guess I need to steal the MUCH longer feet from the front of my Hobbit? Or is WOZ not actually supposed to run at 6.5 degrees?

I'd put WOZ at 6.5 degrees.

The traditional way to do this is to buy a 2x4 board cut to the right length, and just have the back legs sit on the 2x4.

You might buy two of these for the back:

and on the front leg levelers, first, remove the nut, and if that doesn't give you that last 1/4 inch you need, remove the leg levelers entirely on the front of the game and let the game rest on the bottom of the legs.

WOZ plays a bit slow compared to modern games. You are going to be reaching for ways to make the game just a bit faster.

The cabinet/leg geometry on first-run WOZ ECLE is very different from other pinballs I have, including later JJP... the legs are unusually short, you HAVE to crank out way more thread in the back than usual just to get a baseline angle, AND they only included extra-short leg levellers (like, way shorter than any pinball in my collection).

I'm not sure I ever bothered to measure the angle on my WOZ before, I just cranked out as much as I could and went with that, but using the Pinguy app for levelling, I realized how much that wasn't going to work for me now.

I did what I mentioned - I swapped the front levellers from my Hobbit with the rears from my WOZ (since I don't have any spare one lying around) and was able to get it levelled at 6.5 with plenty of remaining thread. Although, with way more thread used than the other game, lol.

I'm 6'5" and I have the long levelers on all four legs plus blocks cut from 2x4s in back. This way I can get the lock bar up to the same height as my 90s B/W games.
