    Remove insert. Scrape out any of the old glue and clean the insert free of old glue. Re-glue using two part epoxy. Then, if they are cupped badly enough, use two part auto clear and a glass eye dropper to fill in the insert. Here are some before and after of a Stern Lightning I did using this exact method.

    When re-gluing, use a large c-clamp with a small block of wood. You can put a piece of wax paper between the wood and playfield to prevent any possibility of the wood becoming stuck to the playfield.
