Quoted from FatPanda:It's funny that you say this because I'm not sure Mayweather would last a round in the Octagon with McGregor. McGregor has a big mouth, and yes, McGregor issued the challenge, but I think it's speaks volumes that McGregor was able to step into Mayweather's universe and go as long as he did with him.
I doubt he would last 60 seconds with the same amount of training time for MMA that McGregor was given for a boxing match. Throw a couple of kicks, take him down, easily submit.
The Mayweather vs McGregor fight was farce just to make money. But good for them if they got rich and gave fans something to be excited about. McGregor needs to capitalize on his earning as he has been really protected so far despite how Dana likes to spin it. He has done some awesome things and is a great fighter, you can't take away his wins. But he was a giant featherweight and has yet to defend a belt a single time which is crazy for someone so hyped. He beat a decent lightweight that was also undersized. He is 1 against Nate Diaz who isn't a top contender at Lightweight or Welterweight. So he can give up his belt and keep fighting Nate over and over or he is going to have to fight the best contenders going forward and he is not going to walk through them.
I think GGG is slightly slowed and I like Canelo in this one. It's really a hard one to predict though as either one could win big and early
