So Expo is around the corner next week, a few new games are being introduced.

Stern has already hit $8500 on the LE and I think JJP is going up another 5 bills to $8500 for the base model. Why not? Everybody raves about the F ing quality and its so much better than a Stern LE.

This has become a HUO market across the board, with location taking a back seat.

Tough for an OP to make enough $$$ routing a JJP pin.

What you get with JJP is great support, quality, code support (as long as they don't make 3 games a yr) and a bulls eye on the HUO market.

How much more can they siphon out of us?

Most people remember when WOZ was announced at $6500 and it was a HUGE WTF moment.

Hard to believe $9k-$10k is going to be the norm in HUO market from here on out.

Even Spooky, as they expand and grow as demand gets higher and higher for their stuff, prices gotta keep going up. More overhead, fixed and variable.

I see folks being MUCH more selective going forward, including myself.

    Quoted from PW79:

Ice... you're the exact type of buyer that caused all of this pinball mess.
Damn you big spenders, damn you all to hell.

Well my Nib pin addiction is hitting a wall now.

I've got plenty of older B/W games too for $3k and under (except WH20)

    Quoted from cosmokramer:

Older williams games are red hot right now...the HUO secondary stern market is getting soft...

    So is HUO JJP games.

Anything over $8k is going to take a hit on the secondary market. Too many other great older Bally games for $2k-$4k and then throw in the EM's.

    Relax NPO, it's just pinball

We will get another round of price increases and let's see how that goes over

Everybody has a breaking point, and it's not the same number for everybody

Right on the mark with prediction.

    Quoted from PW79:

    Ice buys expensive games.
    Ice feels silly later.
Ice starts this thread & swears "never again"
Ice preorders JJP's most expensive pin just days later.
    You did buy JJPOTC right?

So much more context here Curly. You need to keep up.

The tides are shifting, POTC and JJP

    Ice is passionate about pinball

    Quoted from PW79:

Ice then buys a Stern GOTG LE with $500 Groot tooper

Don't say that shit. My SW deposit with JJ is waiting for a GOLDEN TEE!

Yes i want that GOTG LE because i know it will be a Stern comeback (Franchi comments are quite positive) BUT just can't and won't do it.

Leaving that one for you Curly.

    Quoted from PW79:

If you bail on a Golden Tee... I'm putting you on ignore lol.

Best bargain on the planet. Seriously, sticking a fork in GOTG and going golfing. MUCH F ing cheaper
