Opeth was, at a time, definitely black metal. Orchid and Morningrise are black metal classics.
Only band that has made me puke at a show because the endless smell of rotting flesh. Even the local road crews complain that their gear is covered in gore and filth and won't touch it.

There's tons of stuff posted here I don't like, but I'm not going to attack it, just move on.
