Anyone going to Full Terror Assault this year? The closest thing to a real outdoor metal fest the US has to offer. 4 days of camping, metal, and other shenanigans on a large private campground. BYOB and food, and throw down with 100s of other metal fans.

This was the best year yet and ended with Exodus doing the Toxic Waltz while a golf cart circle pit was formed.

I photographed the Judas Priest/Queensryche tour here in Detroit back in October. Halford can still nail them notes, and Todd La Torre has truly cemented himself as the new vocalist for Queensryche.

Anyone check out Bombus from Gothenburg yet? There first album The Poet and The Parrot was kick ass start to finish. They've got 3 more out now but the first one remains my favorite.

Interjecting some humor into the topic. As a part-time concert photographer I sometimes see the band members talking amongst themselves during a set. Can't always make out what they're saying to each other but my mind sometimes comes up with some funny ideas like this sequence of shots of Queensryche.
