Ha! Pantera is just excellent at what they did once they figured out who they were. Reinventing the Steel is my favorite…mainly because I have heard the other stuff so much. Revolution is My Name is a fucking masterpiece! The guitar riffs are Dime at his best. Pantera is just one of those bands you either dig em or you don’t….but they have a huge place in metal……completely opened the doors for many bands to follow for sure.

If it comes near me I plan to go…it’s a tribute and we all know it…..Zakk has commented and stated it’s a tribute and not a resurrection of Pantera in no way shape or form. The only thing I could see more fitting as a cherry on top is if for a couple of shows where dates worked out they had Ace open or join them on stage for a couple of songs….it cannot be overstated how much of an influence Ace/Kiss was to Dime. He had a Ace tat and was buried in a Kiss casket. I am sure Zakk has his work cut out to learn all the Dime licks but he will do it right.
