What I love about Danzig is he always changes but never changes.
Did anybody see the "Murder in the Front Row" documentary? I forgot about it, and am trying to figure out how to see it.
edit: nevermind; I guess it hasn't come out yet other than the few screenings. Looks like it will be released to disc in April
I have the "Murder in the Front Row" book.
Ian Christie is a damn genius and an IU boy.
I will also play Exodus for you.

That's BDASS MAN POW.
What did you say?

Not sure I’d have been able to speak! He’s also got quite the heavy accent so us midwestern Americans have to listen hard!

He was super shy, man! I was like freaking out and saying how awesome he was and was like “cheers, mate” awesome dude! Real down to earth!

It has at least 4 dead weight fillers on there that are critical to remove from the playlist, once you remove them, it's near-greatness.
13 songs 71 minutes give me a break!
Knock that down to 9 songs, and it's almost re-listenable-worthy.

Haha
I can't stand doom or stoner or sludge but there's always a few exceptions.
Gates of Slumber, Wretch, and High on Fire.
Death is This Communion is oh wow
Even though the bassist Bob has been a buddy of mine for years, I just discovered this track of theirs.
Chicago's High Spirits with a track that will have you hitting repeat over and over. I'm on day 4 now lol.
Quoted from Rdoyle1978:I was surprised at how good the new Killer Be Killed is Sounding..
Never heard of this group before even though I'm a fan of Dillinger Escape Plan, Mastodon, and Sepultura. I'm out of the loop.

The first album is pretty awesome. I never got into Soulfly or the nu-metal Septultura, but this band is great, as is Max's new band with Igor "Cavalera Conspiracy". It's not quite vintage Sepultura, but it's got the attitude.
Anybody into South Indian metal from Malaysia?
Or maybe with is a cover of Smooth Criminal by Michael Jackson.
Honestly I have no idea.
I’m thinking of switching up some of the songs in Metallica (the game that started this thread). Listened to Death Magnetic today and I hear a lot that I like. I’d cut the pretty intros out since I suck at pinball, and I’d never get to hear the awesome metal parts.
Has anyone been following the Anthrax 40th anniversary video series? Really awesome look back at all their albums. They just started with the John Bush era and were pretty honest about kicking out Joey, and let him and Bush weigh in. Should put that to bed forever.

Yeah, I have been watching it from the beginning. Really interesting series and well done with input from everyone.
Anyone going to Full Terror Assault this year? The closest thing to a real outdoor metal fest the US has to offer. 4 days of camping, metal, and other shenanigans on a large private campground. BYOB and food, and throw down with 100s of other metal fans.

Never heard that one- ive actually never heard a live metal vinyl before!
The new Powerwolf Album is out today!!!! Powerwolf is a local band where I live, so I might be biased. But I love this band and the new album is so good! The deluxe versions with the bonus of a "best of album with friends" is realy epic.
Pretty bummed, just read Joey from Slipknot died:

Yeah and so young. I assumed drugs, but they haven't released anything other than 'he died peacefully in his sleep'.
