If you reread the original post, I think it's pretty clear that it was intended to be a thread about workshop spaces.

For some weird reason the show-offs chimed in, with garages full of awesome sauce. Some folks' workbenches are in the garage, so there's their opening. Kind of intimidating to us normal people.

And one guy thought "shop" meant "store!" It can, but didn't. Looks like a cool place though!

English is a wonderful language, with so many synonyms and shades of grey...

I would like to see more tool benches, jigs & rigs, and workbenches, cluttered to immaculate.

Funny, I had just noticed that when I saw your post. Still, if one looks past the title, it's clear the OP wasn't asking for wannabe Jay Lenos' garages, he wanted workshops.
