I thought this thread was about areas we worked on machines, not showed off our stuff. You know, like "shop"....As in workshop. I don't see much work getting done in these.

    #104 7 years ago

You have a point there. Here's my workshop:

Well my pictures are of where I'll work on mine but when is a good question. But the thread topic isn't specific so anything goes.

    #107 7 years ago

It's cool, just not my understanding of the thread. Won't be the last time, I'm sure.

You can never have too many Bally slots, especially E-Series, in your workshop

A bit out of control with those E-series machines:

Well my garage/shop/gameroom II is basically done, just have to add some doodads on the walls. All the neons are up, pool table set up with a rgb led strip under it to light up the floor and an rgb led strip under the rails to light up the pockets. I hung a door skin from my Mustang when from when I raced it out at Bonneville with the number and class graphics still on it then wound a color changer strip a couple times around 4 screws 3 inches from all 4 edges so to give the wall around the skin a nice glow. Once I remove that last pile of stuff I'll have 20ft wide x 24ft long for just the Mustang. With both car doors open and a 3ft walk way on the one wall side that makes 16ft width taken up with 4ft to the pool table but with the doors closed and the car slid sideways toward the wall the car will be 11ft from the pool table. The floor will be a working floor, jack stands and floor jacks so it won't be getting a coating but I did fill the cracks. Hopefully I'll get the Mustang back in July then the fun will REALLY begin. Anybody want to come over and help.....with free beer and pool playing during breaks.

If you reread the original post, I think it's pretty clear that it was intended to be a thread about workshop spaces.

For some weird reason the show-offs chimed in, with garages full of awesome sauce. Some folks' workbenches are in the garage, so there's their opening. Kind of intimidating to us normal people.

And one guy thought "shop" meant "store!" It can, but didn't. Looks like a cool place though!

English is a wonderful language, with so many synonyms and shades of grey...

I would like to see more tool benches, jigs & rigs, and workbenches, cluttered to immaculate.

Here's my humble machine section. Electronics and games are at the other end of the house. The family keeps me contained to small portions of floor space.

Ok, don't judge me now. My space is a total mess, but I seem to get by. When I'm in the middle of a project it's like a campaign. All the stuff I'm working with is out and continually in use. At the end of the project or at a significant rest point the whole place is made spotless. Really, it is. Stop laughing.

The photos are just sort of panning out from the desk..

Funny, I had just noticed that when I saw your post. Still, if one looks past the title, it's clear the OP wasn't asking for wannabe Jay Lenos' garages, he wanted workshops.
