Just recently got this. Back glass is mint and in a safe place. Waiting to set it up in my gameroom.

I just restored mine!

Quoted from AUKraut:

A little off topic but I figured you guys would know: why did classic Stern not succeed back then?? They seemed to have the best looking pins and some of the most innovative rules for the time, as well as using similar common parts as Bally.....were they too expensive, lacking distributors, or what??

Interesting question... maybe someone who was there in that time can answer... what I can tell from my perspective is classic stern is a lot cheaper than bally... Metal not as strong, etc... maybe operator was affraid of this...

Quoted from pinlawyer:

Just got my Viper back from the restorer. I've been playing very little else lately.

Viper is a very fun pin, like all the classic stern, they have to be dialed to perfection to be really appraciated
