Quoted from BertoDRINK1:My Trident. Also own a Meteor and Galaxy. They are Great pins! I want more classic Sterns but they seem to get snatched up quickly these days.
You just let me know when you are done with this Trident buddy

Might be a little while. I love the artwork
Love me some classic Sterns. Only one I have at the moment is a Big Game. The one I really want and is impossible to get is a Freefall. Supposedly they made 1300 of these, but I have only see and played one, and its awesome!

This has been on ebay for ages. Priced too high I think.

Quoted from Multiball33:Just recently got this. Back glass is mint and in a safe place. Waiting to set it up in my gameroom.
I just restored mine!

My goodness those are some GORGEOUS pins..............WOW!!!
I'm starting to firmly believe that once I get a bigger place and more room for pins I will have to have a classic Stern section.....

Looks awesome! Nice iron Maiden pin!! I have stargazer, Quicksilver, meteor, magic, and lightning. Had a nineball and seawitch.
A little off topic but I figured you guys would know: why did classic Stern not succeed back then?? They seemed to have the best looking pins and some of the most innovative rules for the time, as well as using similar common parts as Bally.....were they too expensive, lacking distributors, or what??

Interesting question... maybe someone who was there in that time can answer... what I can tell from my perspective is classic stern is a lot cheaper than bally... Metal not as strong, etc... maybe operator was affraid of this...
Quoted from pinlawyer:Just got my Viper back from the restorer. I've been playing very little else lately.
Viper is a very fun pin, like all the classic stern, they have to be dialed to perfection to be really appraciated
Quoted from ssbodyman:Only have one but I love it
That playfield looks mint! Is that original or restored? Awesome looking game, hopefully I'll finally get a chance to play one soon.

I spent about 1/48th of my life restoring that game. Well worth it and probably why I love playing it so much.
FREE: (partial) schematics for Stern Stingray.
I've got 3 large original pages of Stingray schematics that I have no use for. I will mail them to any US address free if anyone wants them.
NOT complete and these pages can be downloaded from IPDB, but maybe someone would want these. Send me a PM.
