    Quoted from Damonowskivich:

Here is an imgur album (http://imgur.com/a/f8SsP ) with the entire project construction of the game room. Towards the end are pics of the bar construction. I managed to get most of the construction steps, but missed pics of the particle board underlying the walnut bar top. Luckily for us, friends of ours own a tree-cutting service and gifted us 4 twelve foot long boards of walnut for the project. Our contractor took the nicest pieces of the rough-cut wood for the bar top and used the remaining for the rear edge/shelf and other touches.
We used Parks super glaze epoxy for the bar top coating and put 2 coats on over a few weeks (takes about 3 days to fully cure at room temp).

    Very, very nice renovation.

JFH, that room looks extremely well thought out, planned and executed. I'm impressed! Very nice indeed.

    Quoted from ramegoom:

Just curious; why do you have the NM wiring looped around prior to entering the electrical boxes? The inspectors in my area insist that the wires get stapled to the stud within 6 inches of the box entry. And, they want a 6 in. working length outside of each box.
Maybe the code in your area is different? It would be nice to have some slack on those wires every once in a while...

Almost certainly a code requirement in his area. Where I live that is how it has to be done.

    Quoted from BR80:

This is NOT my game room and does NOT have any pinball machines, but think it still qualifies for this thread. The owner calls it a 'Turn of the Century Penny Arcade', but really it's a stunning collection of museum quality pieces. He started out 35+ years ago collecting EMs, but turned to antique arcade machines shortly afterward. Thought a few here might enjoy it.
