Pretty fun looking at all these gameroom pics, they are just plain cool every one of them, and some are jaw dropping. Here is my little cigar lounge / gameroom under the basement stairs.

    Quoted from RDReynolds:

Yay! Someone else with an Asteroids!

glad you noticed...but if you look really close at the cab you might see the flipper buttons...it's a scratch built visual pinball/mame/laser arcade game machine. And plays Asteroids perfect!

    Quoted from dirkdiggler:

Here's my small but cozy 10' x 9' spare bedroom. Just enough room for a couch, tv and 2 pins. Could add another pin but would have to hang the tv. Still have a couple more neons to hang.

Put that tv on the wall to the left and looks like you might have room for a row of 4 pins...

Oh but that is a big ball bowler, those things are awesome!!

I incorporated a theater in my basement remodel too, 109" screen and Klipsch surround speakers up in the ceiling. The wood work on some of these home theaters is awesome. I kept it open floor plan and clean and simple, works for me...

Very small but it's not the size of the gameroom...but the 3 awesome pins you put in there. Nice!

Working on a bit of a game room as well- still lots to do and need more pins -

Great start, most don't even have a gameroom and as much as I love pinball the super chexx steals the show for head to head fun.

    Quoted from MustangPaul:

You could always take that ceiling down and paint the joists flat black, that would really give you an open feeling.....and you'd be able to lift the pf's up then.

+1...drummermike your space is awesome. My basement was light color panel boards and a low drop ceiling, tore it all out and painted joists flat black with drywalls. Just removing that ceiling would really modernize it and open it up, wood walls can stay.

    Quoted from ramegoom:

Had a crowd last night, between 30 and 35 people...

And they are all coming back over today for the SuperBowl !!! What a great space, would love to let my gameroom slowly creep into the entire basement.

    Quoted from DJNOEL30:

Moved the games around in the loft. How does it look? Total Nuclear Annihilation will be joining the collection in May!

You really set a lofty goal and achieved it! Like it, like it alot. Room for a sleeping bag, you can camp out up there

I can think of one thing.

And with the table partly obscuring the side of that slap shot I thought it said that one thing on the side of it, made me do a double take.

    Quoted from SNES:

Some amazing rooms in this thread!! I’ve never posted in here before, but here is my gameroom. I thought I was out of space until I convinced my wife that we would use more arcade games MUCH more than the formal dining room that we only use for Christmas every year. Only issue is I am pretty much out of space again. Wonder how my wife would feel about a couple pins in the master bedroom? Lol

Nice collection...props on the Space Duel, loved that game back when I could go play it at the arcade.

    Quoted from Kerry_Richard:

    Hello tatman9999 and bowtech...
Interesting that both you have the same 3-D "Arcade" sign on the wall. That's really nice! Where did you get it?

I 'think' they sell/sold those at Hobby Lobby. Not sure you have those stores in CA.

    #10391 1 year ago
    Quoted from Kerry_Richard:

Thanks swillie... after I posted that question; I Googled "lighted Arcade sign" and found several sources. They ranged in price from about $48 to $60+.
We do have Hobby Lobby here, about 15 miles from me. I'll check them as well.

If they still even have them. Was battery operated but you could fix that real easily. Don't forget the 40% off coupon...

Thank you, it’s been an up and down experience

At the expense of wasting a bit of space I think a batpole to get down from 2nd floor would be pretty awesome...

    Updated may gameroom.

I see that you have moved that trophy case 2 inches to the right...now when are you going to replace the batterys in that clock?

    #10597 1 year ago
    Quoted from guss:

Clock is going to disappear. I put led ocd in PM and new translite in GOT.

Lol I am just having a cigar and goofing off, I saw the new translite looks great! You tricked me with the display on PM though, all red lettering in that pic.

    #10599 1 year ago
    Quoted from guss:

ocd led board in backbox and all new led lights.

Oh...well i'm on my third double IPA, so i'm officially dumb at this point
    Nice lineup.

    Quoted from KingBW:

I got that table, but my wife didn't want a stool shining light up her butt. Go figure.

"Hey, do these LEDs make my butt look big"?

$350 barn find (well, pole barn find).

Beautiful condition game! My brother owns the SS version...very fun. Those early SS games feel a bit 'empty' to me without all the chatter coming from under the hood. Would love to play the EM version. A steal at that price.

    Quoted from gliebig:

More blacklight. Camera doesn't capture it great

Looks really cool. My basement vinyl planks are nice, but I wonder if I can just get an area rug in a pattern like this for my small gameroom. Needs that fun arcade vibe, the pins do a good job of that but every gameroom I see with blacklight carpet looks so inviting.

    #10691 1 year ago
    Quoted from mbwalker:

I was thinking along the sames lines, but maybe a runner instead.

A runner in front of your row of pins? That is a really good idea!

    #10695 1 year ago
    Quoted from dirkdiggler:

I found the same pattern in tiles on amazon. 4 tiles for $250usd with free shipping for fellow Americans. Would do a 12' × 3' runner perfectly.

I cannot find it either... could you post a link?

Almost there. Need to paint the wood panel white. Thinking of making tiny labels showing which games each switch operates.

If you put lighted switches it would be like this...
