First time poster. Here are some pics of the gameroom. A few more are on my webpage...

I see bare floor. You need to fill it with more pins!

"THE BIRTH OF A GAME ROOM"

Got this house in 2007 with a bitchin' 1960's kitchen... right. Then I trashed the kitchen, cut down a wall to make a small bar, converted the dining room to a game room (wife's suggestion B.I.O.N.) and poof, here it was...

Also threw in a couple shots of my garage game room/shop. Love this hobby.

    DSCN2635.JPG.jpg IMG_2891.jpg IMG_4917.jpg IMG_4901.jpg IMG_4908.jpg IMG_4912.jpg

    #493 7 years ago

Thanks guys. Yeah, the wife's a keeper. And I even admitted having an affair with the Hooter's girl pictured in my shop photo. She didn't believe me. At least I was honest.

    #499 7 years ago

Yeah, that's a keeper. It was the game that ate most of my quarters in the 80's, so I must have it. Need to work on my high score. Also might do the double DK mod, but really want to keep it stock.

    #507 7 years ago
    Quoted from fattrain:

I personally have ZERO idea why it gets so much flack. Only about half the GI and lights are working currently and I'm still REALLY enjoying it!!

Good to know. Enjoy it. Nice game room you have there too...

Here's my Game Room. Little bit mixed inventory, but the main attraction is a 75 foot long 3 lane wooden Slot Race track
Here is more info about my Game Room: http://www.cenobyte.nl/index.php/game-room-2

    Now that's nice!

I'm thinking you could fit a lot of pins in the place of that track, but that's one of the coolest compromises I could think of. Kudos...

Hi, here's few pics from an arcade meeting i made this spring !

Beautiful 80's collection. Makes me want to dump all my 90's pins and go back to my roots.

    #833 7 years ago
    Quoted from Leeb18509:

And the new. The curtain is temporary and I don't love where I hung all the marquees but we'll work on it. The carpet is blacklight reactive but I need more BL. I have LED strips under the 3, but the blue under the WH20 looks the best. Might have to trade out the red and yellow under HS2 and RS.

I'm a big fan of M.C. Escher. "Sphere" is a perfect gameroom choice.

Some amazing game rooms, WOW !
    Here is my current Lineup
    Cheers,
    Ando

Great arrangement. Really like the artwork behind each game, and them being spaced enough so you can see the side art. Well done there Ando.

The current lineup. Main gameroom in the house, and my gameroom garage. Pretty much out of space unless I keep the car on the driveway, then room for 5 more.

    Quoted from Slate:

Some nice wine... or is that Courvoisier?

Wife's glass of Pinot Gris. I drink the red stuff, and scotch.

    Quoted from Goonie:

Ahhh, a man after my own heart.
P.S. - you can't put that car on the driveway! Z4?

Good eye. I'm working on a new plan to pack more pins in and still have room for it.

Cleaned up my garage gameroom and thought it was time to update my pics. Here's the current state of affairs. My TZ is out on a three month trade for the ToM. My 1970 Gottlieb Baseball is at my father-in-law's place. Good thing ... I'm outta space!

    Quoted from rotordave:

I posted pics of my new room earlier in the thread ... Here's a little update.
Put up the 18 downlights. Three circuits, all with dimmers. Should provide good lux for pin playing.
Carpet went down this week, and I fitted the 8 floor sockets. Each socket is on its own 20amp circuit. There are about 15 wall sockets, three sockets to one 20amp MCB.
Should start moving in pins in about a week or so.

    Party at RotorDave's!

Pinster, since you're going...mind picking me up on the way?

    Done.

Half way around the world in the name of pinball.

LOTR to the garage?? Say it isn't so!!

It was upstaging the 90's collection. Every era in its place.

    Quoted from S37VEN:

How does one get on this locals list? Would be happy to share my TOTAN, LOTR and METLE. Have a nice TV setup in the basement for football if it happens on a Sunday.

Sorry - slow on the reply here. You're in for sure. When I send out an all-call for a pin-gathering I'll be sure to let you know.

Fantastic space as is. Once you add a pin you know you'll want more.

My Tron cabinet is arcade original and covered in grafitti/carvings, but works perfect. If you ever sell yours I'd be interested. Not sure I want to commit the time to restore it.

Great loooking!! Love the frog serving "balls"
(Great taste of B/W games )

    Thanks man!

Yeah, my frog butler is the pin mascot in my house. I always try to sneak him into a picture when I can.

    #3319 4 years ago
    Quoted from Gov:

That third picture is just sexy. Substitute Devils Dare for Genie, EBD or Quicksilver and I would be very content with that lineup for a long while

Devil's Dare is a great pin, both to look at and play. Not very deep at all, but challenging to achieve multiball and earn Mulitmode Time . I considered getting rid of it at times so I could pick up another system 80 ... but I just can't do it.

That said I would also love a Genie, EBD, Pink Panther or a grail pin: Spirit.

    #3329 4 years ago
    Quoted from Kryzsky:

    Here's mine! Nice and cramped!
Actually moving into a house in a few weeks so will have much more room, looking forward to that.

    DSC06956Pin.JPG 255 KB

    Nice collection.

Hey I wouldn't call it cramped. More like cozy, or intimate. Wait sec, maybe that's not a good idea ... I could just hear you saying "hey guys, grabs some beers and come on over to my cozy/intimate game room". Cramped it is!

    #3332 4 years ago
    Quoted from littlecammi:

Nice. But that silver sit-down-driver game in the middle of the room takes up too much room.

It does, doesn't it. All so I can sit my ass down in a warm seat when I hit the road. Ought to evict that SoB and bring more pins in.

Nifty ... I did a quick workup of my garage. Their stock items included a "fold-up pingpong table" which was as close as I could get to a pinball machine, and pretty close in dimensions....MyGarageIn3D.jpg

    #3376 4 years ago
    Quoted from pinballslave:

Looks good! You can squeeze a few more pins in there though

There was one more pin I forgot about. and actually what you don't see is my workbench, tool cabinets, a Donkey Kong, and a potted tree I'm keeping in there for the winter. There's essentially no space left for pins.

    #6360 3 years ago
    Quoted from Pinballlew:

You need to get that car in the driveway where it belongs thats at least three more pinball spots!

I sure have been thinking about it! I actually snapped this photo the day before taking in another pin, so yes that car is out in the driveway under a cover. It's "supposed" to be temporary as I shift some things around so the car can come back in.
