Well I am starting my basement, it used to be semi finished but we flooded in 2011. So it has been basically a wood shop and storage since then while I rebuilt the house. Second kid is due end of july so me and my boy need a good space to play!

    Quoted from MustangPaul:

How big? Think it will flood again?

I doubt it but now I have flood insurance at least.. 6 feet of water on my main floor.

Did a bit of sheetrock tonight, the wall to the left will be framed up and sheetrocked next. The line up will include a firepower and all points bulletin when I finish them too.

Had a basement issue in 2011 too. Just getting to sheetrock the basement and fill it with pins now.

    Quoted from MustangPaul:

That looks huge, what you gonna do about the ceiling and duct work? If the ducts were painted flat black they make a good place to put those magnetic apron covers.

It's a decent size, planning on about 5 pins and two arcade machines. I'll have to fit a couch and tv in too somewhere. It had a sheetrock ceiling before the flood but the plumbers put the new plumbing on the bottom of the joists so I'll probably end up just painting it all black, not high enough for a drop ceiling.

I know a little about flooding. Can't believe my sump pump couldn't keep up! Didn't own any pins at the time, they would now be priority #1.

Uffta sorry to see that. Same happened to me. This is the entrance to my neighborhood in 2011

This has taken way too long.. but finally got some sheetrock up and sprayed texture today. My buddy did a great job hiding my horrible tape work. Time to paint tomorrow and get carpet down soon. Then free up some space in the garage from the games going downstairs.

Alright carpet is in tonight. Now I don’t know how a couch, tv, three more pins, and two arcade games are going in here...

    Quoted from Blitzburgh99:

    What are room dimensions?

21x12 in the main area.. 7.5x14 in the “treadmill” area

    Quoted from Chosen_S:

    You’ll figure it out
    Where are you’re baseboards?

At the store still haha. I’ll get them in this weekend, then start moving things down.

Leave the Couch, tv and arcades out and buy more pins?

Yeah the wife had a few requirements for the room haha. Gotta keep the family happy!

Had to move firepower to the back of the room. Will be joined by paragon at some point this winter. Feels good to get most of it down here..

APB is by FAR the heaviest
