Quoted from mbelofsky:Just added Deadpool LE and moved several bookcases to fit 12 games where I could formally fit 10.[quoted image][quoted image]
That hulk looks so cool in your line up! I like green!

That hulk looks so cool in your line up! I like green!
Quoted from Wineinger09:Bought a Metallica Pro just for the fun of it about 2 months ago, and decided to follow it up with a Monster Bash LE
Those two pins are certainly a great start!!
Four awesome pins! Four is the perfect number for me. It's what I have room for and as many as I care to own at once.
May get there one day!
Quoted from ramegoom:Images in my evolving game room.
You have a Major Award!!!!
Quoted from crujones4life:I am a lucky guy no doubt. My wife fully supports the madness!
Well, my wife seems to be drawing a line at three. I have room for 5 and could make room for more, but we're not rich either so.. I guess I can't complain.
Quoted from wayner:70th birthday for my former wife-girls preferred to yap in the Diner than play machines but good time was had by all.
[quoted image]
[quoted image]
[quoted image]
Yup!
Glad to know I'm not the only one who is surrounded by women that would rather yap than play pinball!
Quoted from beepbeep:All out of space now after picking up my LE Monster Bash, guess I'll need to find a bigger house to fit more pins in someday. But these 3 will keep me busy for a while. [quoted image]
I think 3 is the perfect number! It's my goal. At two now.
So, what you guy's are saying is I'm hopelessly afflicted with this disease then?
The scary thing is, I have room for 5. More if I dump the Gym!
Standing and flipping is good exercise right?
Quoted from heni1977:3 is all I am allowed, in the house, hehehehehe!
Do you even get your F-14 back together? How it playing?
Added over 4 years ago:Sorry,
I meant... Did you ever get your F-14 back together? How it playing?
Also, if you're going to use LED black lights, the best are 365nm UV wave length. These cost more but are designed to light up UV ultraviolet objects without casting much purple visible light. Here are some 365nm UV LED bulbs..

Quoted from Rager170:Ive come to realize that my decorating skills are worthless compared to you guys hahaha.
Not everyone cares about a fancy game room.
Quoted from yzfguy:[quoted image]

That AFM topper is cool!
Quoted from marksf123:Turned my empty loft into a small gameroom.
Awesome modern Stern lineup!
Love the Bat Light on the ceiling!!
Quoted from Pugsley:Nice Reffers. We have a guy that during open house runs a Beer train of about 40 cars and they are all different beer cars.
Ya, I wanted to do that too!
Just don't have the room with HO scale. Someday I'll build a layout when I retire hopefully. I grew up next to a train yard. I have all the locos and rolling stock from that era that ran past my house. The beer refers are just cool though!
Hell, at my house, I can barely get people to play anything. Most women (friends of my wife that come over my house) rather gab than play games! At least my 78 year old mother is fun. She likes smashing the Vengeance on my Star Trek Pro!
Now that I think about it, she's more fun than all these younger women I know!
Quoted from littlecammi:How much play does the rocking horse get?
They'd just stand there in complete bewilderment!
Quoted from Royale-W-Cheese:and a predator....sucks that never got into production. toppers of all toppers..
That's no shit!
I still can't believe it!
Quoted from Charlemagne1987:I counted 86 pins (someone else counted 87). All I can say is "Holy shit!" And it looks like they're all in great condition. My jealousy quotient is through the roof. I assume you're in the pinball profession. That's how you've come to accumulate so many. I have 7 games and they cost me a lot. I can't imagine the value of your collection. I assume they're all insured.
Or he's the CEO of something?
The COE of the company I work for gets an 8 to 10 million dollars a year bonus. That's not counting his salary. So new pinball machines for him are like me paying the water bill.
Awesome collection though!! Thanks for sharing!
Quoted from YZRider926:One of these days I’ll get the basement finished.
Damn!
Nice collection of machines!
You must get that game room into style now for sure!
Quoted from SteamVette:Thanks! I just took 1/4” flooring plywood and cut strips to 4.5” with a 30 degree edge and painted them different colors. They are not perfect but that’s what makes it look kinda cool.[quoted image]
Sa-weet!
Quoted from Pinkitten:Here is our gameroom!
Cool two tone lock down bar on Tron!
I never seen that before!
Quoted from mcuzz:Got pong working 10” monitor , thanks VCR ... huh yeah.. empty home arcades.;(
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
A Tempest!!!!!!!!!!!
I love that game!
Quoted from luckycreature:My humble game room. My kid plays video games while I play pinball.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
TNA FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!
Quoted from marioparty34:Here is one of my secret entrances. It takes a special telephone number to unlock the 600lb pulling force magnet. This was taken almost a year old. The ante room is a little more decorated now. I just haven't had time to reshoot the video.
Happy Father's Day!
Now you need to install one of these chompers too!
Quoted from RTS:That is a great movie. I avoided it for years because I thought it was meant to be a legit sci fi film that just looked stupid
I was completely wrong. It was a really clever story
I'm for a Galaxy Quest pin!
Quoted from jrockne:More progress!
More painting done, and the glass and monitor are working! (Fittingly, the glass is a sheet of wide body playfield glass).
Still need to fill in the ceiling and add more flair...
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
There's an alien outside that window looking in!
I tied my dehumidifier into the condensate pump line of my furnace. That way the water gets pumped out and I don't have to manually empty it ever. About once a year scum builds up in the drain line and blocks it. But it's easy to remove the hose and clean it. If you don't have a furnace condensate pump already, I recommend buying one and tying it into your sewer line. Manually emptying these things every day is a PITA!
In the spring, summer and fall months, continuous on full blast. In winter, it almost never kicks on. This is just for my basement. Upstairs is AC for dehumidification and a humidifier for winter.
Quoted from jorge5240:Had a little party last night and took this picture. Thought it was pretty cool![quoted image]
Did you build that infinity table? It's great!!
Also, I'm curious what you used for that cool bar. Looks like some kind of backlit printed image?
Thanks
Quoted from Hijacked:It’s a great game, and getting better with the code evolving. The lighting and sounds are very cool. But it kicks my ass most of the time. I don’t think I’ve ever sworn so much at a game before.
LOL. Try ACNC!
Quoted from Chosen_S:Pic of my gameroom through my kitchen window
[quoted image]
Kids!
That's were all the sin happens!!!
Quoted from Daditude:I have a friend with an AMAZING collection of beautiful games that most of us would give an arm and a leg for. He tells me his kids only play Xbox in his gameroom
I know a guy who spent 20+ years building a model railroad down his basement. Awesome HO layout! And he said the same thing! His grand kids rather sit in a corner and play with their cell phones. This is truly disturbing to me!
Quoted from yzfguy:I get that one... Trains are boring as hell!
When I was a kid, that was the most awesome thing there was! And when I had a Grampa, I cherished my time with him! So sounds like there was issues! Sad.. I never had kids, and seeing what others are dealing with these days, I have to admit... I'm glad.
Quoted from jorge5240:Thinking of adding a lane master. Anyone have any experience with these?
[quoted image]
I'd love to try one of these out too!
Right now I'm planning on VR bowling with my new HP Reverb G2. It just sucks that it's a solo experience, unless you have two setups and link via internet multiplayer.
Quoted from swilson143:Then I illuminated the playfields I had hanging on the wall using LED strips and ran the wiring inside the wall to keep things tidy.
This reminds me of the Jeremy Williams Arduino-powered PF lighting kits no longer sold? It was a great product I wish I could get for my spare Deadpool PF! Jump to 2:55
Quoted from dyopp21:I used a cheap LED sequencer called "LED Magician" and cut an LED strip into small sections and soldered the wires to the small copper pads that are populated all along the strip.
Was it this unit?
Quoted from Pinkitten:That’s like a tin piece of wall art I bought recently from Etsy I believe. $30, and they offer several mini playfields.
[quoted image]
LOL! I just ordered two of these! Silverball Mania and Xenon. https://www.etsy.com/search?q=pinball%20metal%20sign
Also, the miniature pinball machines are cool too! https://www.etsy.com/shop/LaBordeTechCustoms?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=896872031
Quoted from punkin:It's a hard knock life when this is the front four;
[quoted image]
Four cabs that are too nice to have so close together! Those need to be spread out to show off the art work!
Here are the two metal sign playfields I bought recently from Etsy.
Overall dimensions are;
9" wide, 17.5" Tall

Quoted from vwallat99:Feeling good about the current gameroom set up now!
Cool Centaur 2! Are they all this style cab? I've never seen one.
Quoted from vwallat99:All Centaur II's are in this cabinet yes. They were left over cabinets from the failed game Rapid Fire. As well as EBD LE and Mr and Mrs Pac-Man. Not sure why it was ever called Centaur II since its the same game.
Thanks, I thought they were somehow different games LOL! The more you know..
Ok, so all the cabs for this failed game went to make not only Centaur II, but also the Eight Ball Deluxe LE and Mr. & Mrs. Packman games as well.
Why did Rapid Fire fail? It looks cool!
Never Mind, I found the answer! Interesting pinball history for sure!!

I have a 15,000 volt 60mA neon sign transformer in a metal box that I want to get rid of. It's heavy, so shipping won't be cheap.
Quoted from semicolin:Use it and a couple of coat hangers to build a jacob's ladder. These days, neon sign transformers come tiny.
Ya, I did that for a Halloween party years ago. But I just sold it today!
Quoted from Doctor6:It is getting increasingly difficult to take a pic showing off my pins all at the same time.
[quoted image]
First world problems!
Quoted from EJS:Maybe…maybe not. You can do quite a bit of work yourself and save a lot of money and take your time with procurement.
Also depends what you like to spend your money on. I don’t travel, don’t have a boat or cabin etc don’t spend much on entertainment. I spend my money on pinballs and even more on pinball parts/ reproduction parts.
This is so true!
I got into flying years ago and quickly figured out that if I was going to stay in that hobby and actually own a Cessna, it would be the only thing I'd ever do! So I got out of flying and enjoyed other things. Now it's pinball!
Quoted from gorditas:Flying pays for my "other things." To quote Michael Scott, "My, how the turntables."
LOL!
So, you're a commercial pilot? Then it's not a hobby.
Quoted from gorditas:If I end up with another TVC overnight, I'll buy you a beer and a few games at The Coin Slot.
That would be great! Or hang out over my place!
They're immaculate and all modded up nice. See pics of my game room. I sold ACNC and replaced it with Iron Maiden however. Awesome game!!! Look me up if you do come to Traverse. I'm only about 10 miles from the airport. I also have a guest room if you drink too much!
Quoted from trueno92:Thats exactly what i think when i get into this thread.. i have upcycled office carpet tile in my unfinished basement and thats the main highlight after the games and neons.
Then again we are talking about toys that are 4-5 figures these days!
I have painted floor with rugs and unfinished ceilings with clamp lights ( which are great because I can put the light where ever I need it). It's about fun and games and drinking! Not interior decorating!
Quoted from trueno92:I thought thrift kitsch is the look all these bars are going for these days??
Ya, I see this now that you mention it! Not my bag at all!!
We need a puke emoticon on Pinside.
Quoted from HarrieD:Well, how about some pictures then?
Posted them here before and also under my profile/ game room.
Quoted from Motorcitypinball:I finally Shot a walk thru video!
Welcome to my gameroom!
Can't wait to see your game room in person!!!!
Quoted from Viggin900:My Pinball Hall of Fame in the gameroom. All the games I have owned and sold get their flyer framed on the wall. Sort of like how some people have hunting trophies!
[quoted image]
Cool ass idea!!!
Did you buy these or download and layout and print the art yourself?
What size are they? I like that they're small, I can find room for this!
I have to say, I'm glad a have the pool table and dart board. When the crew comes over to play pinball, it's nice to take a break and play some pool and darts to break things up. I too plan to sell it with the house as I don't want to move it again!
Quoted from Aurich:I want to know more about that Creepshow looking window display!
Hey Aurich!
I'm still loving your Star Trek art package!!
I originally built this dungeon wall facade back in 2008 for a Halloween party. It's made from 2-inch pink foam board insulation. The mortar joints were done with a sand blaster, and I also cut in cracks with a razor knife. I added rough texturing with water spray mist and a propane torch (nice effect). Then painted it all black and dry brushed with grey latex paint. The back has strips of Luan to add strength (preventing sagging). I used 3/4" wooden dowels glued into the foam board with gorilla glue and threaded rod fasteners, washers, and wing nuts to attach shelf and window arches. Bars are just painted 1/2" PVC pipe. I used large hinges attached to the Luan to connect the three 4x8 foam boards together. The whole thing can be dismantled. It's been standing since 2008 with no sag. The skull heads on the shelf I bought from Terror Syndicate in 2008. Chains, shackles and weapons are just plastic Halloween props. The black light poster in the window is illuminated by a UV LED black spotlight I got off Amazon. Amazingly powerful for the price!!

Cheers!
