Here's some pictures of my modest Gameroom. I know.....only one pinball machine, but the other ones keep falling in my lap. Latest pickup was Asteroids Deluxe for $50 last week.
Just need to finish the rest of the basement and find a place for the rest of the families clutter. Its in the way.
Then it is another pinball, a shuffleboard table, and a shuffle puck bowler. Oh, , and a winning lottery ticket of course.
I do have to say that that this is my favorite thread right now. Thanks for sharing all of your rooms!

    Quoted from Buzz:

I love the dart board and the variety you have.

Thank you! For me its all what you run into at a great price. The 8' air hockey was free, the dart board was $100, rod hockey was on clearance for $40, poker machine was $20 with 8 extra boards and a free extra LCD screen, skill stop was $99, and the plachinko was $30.
Only thing I paid a decent amount was my pinball machine.

    Quoted from yzfguy:

That arcade cabinet looks like a time out kid being punished in the corner!

I was thinking the same thing!

That's a bad game! You sit there till you understand what you did!

    Quoted from tamoore:

I would have loved to have a walkout...
    But I didn't, and couldn't add one...
My stairwell also has a 90 degree landing at the top as well.
I managed to get over 60 pins and 45 arcade games in and out, largest being Daytona USA twin.
I know you said almost essential... I'm just here to provide the other side of that almost.

    Try this instead...
Well, maybe not the war part.

I believe someone once posted this before, but does anyone have any tips for taking photographs of pinball machines when they are on? The backglass always seems to wash out in the pictures I take.
    Thanks!!!

I see Worf approves your game room as well.

    Since we are showing slots......
I just got this Bally Slant Top slot as my wife really wanted one for our arcade. Fun to play but very temperamental. In fact its down again as I post this.

    Quoted from LargemouthAss:

Stupid Question: What is the point of a home slot machine? The fun of slot machines at a casino revolves around the chance to win money. Are you guys actually putting quarters in these and running them like a home casino where you are the house?

For us it's having a variety of games to play for us and our guests. We are all here because of pinball but having a mix of games makes it easier for everyone to find something they would like. Shuffleboard, skill stop machines, pachinko, claw machines, arcade games, drivers, slots, bowlers, darts, Xbox/Nintendo/Playstation, Golden Tee, redemption machines......the list goes on and on.
Add a bar, wine room, TV/movie theater. Incorporate your other hobbies and passions. its all good as long as you like it and your friends and family have fun.

    Quoted from CaptainNeo:

Added some ship figureheads to my room. Hand carved from one solid piece of wood. really brings the room together.

    I'm pretty sure I'd get a splinter.
